It was tough, I second-guessed myself a lot, and frankly just felt overwhelmed. Michael said to me one day, “This is a process, it takes time, the only goal here is for you to be happy, there are no other factors.” That could have been a “lip service” comment made by others, but it was spoken with complete sincerity. Never once did he have a sales pitch or make me feel pressured, he simply felt like the friend that wants the best for you, because he does. He helped me ground my thoughts and focus on the things that were important to me in a home, and we found it. I found my dream house in my dream neighborhood. My fairytale ending doesn't stop here, Michael did an amazing job negotiating, he was there for inspections and all communications with every party, right up to settlement. Before our home-buying journey with Michael, my husband and I had looked at homes a year ago with a different agent who made us feel as if we were wasting her time. From the very beginning, Michael was warm and knowledgeable about the market in Philly. He was excited to show us homes. He demonstrated his professionalism and motivation to help my husband and me find the perfect place for us. As soon as we contacted him with properties we were interested in, he had times set up for us to go check them out. Once we found our perfect home, he helped to guide us as first-time home buyers in what would make sense for an offer and promptly took care of it for us. He already had numbers worked out for us at the home we were super interested in so that we could see what we could afford in many different counter offer scenarios. The next day, we had a counteroffer that Michael discussed with us and we accepted. Throughout the entire process to settlement, Michael was available whenever we had a question or concern and always took care of any issue that arose so that we felt confident going into closing that all would run smoothly. The day of our final walk-through, a few hours before settlement, Michael took us through each room and made certain that everything that needed to be fixed per our inspection was done properly. He made us feel super excited and proud and we honestly couldn’t imagine going with any other agent.
