A Story I’ll Never Forget
Every once in a while, someone takes the time to write something that stops you in your tracks.
This is one of those moments.
Below is a message I received from a Marine Corps combat veteran I worked with years ago. I’m sharing it with his permission, exactly as it was written, because no summary or rewrite could ever do it justice.

“I am a disabled combat veteran who served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Coming home I wanted to start a family, buy a house, live the “American Dream” unfortunately life isn’t that easy. After what I thought was a dream turned into a nightmare. I had gone through a bad separation, lost my kids, my job, had my truck repossessed, practically gave up on life. I was facing foreclosure which would have ultimately sent me over the edge, the bank wasn’t willing to work with me and the days were counting down. I did not see any way of recovering from what was inevitably going to happen to me. That was until I met Michael, through a close friend I had served with I was introduced to Michael. I might not be aloud to say this but he heard my story, was and immediately offered to help with no payment at all! This is no easy task for the best agent but yet a man who I had just met went out of his way to do something for me, something most real family wouldn’t even do and that’s put himself out there on the line beside me asking nothing in return. My life was slowly ending, Michael absolutely 100% saved me! Today I have a beautiful wife, a big house and work for a multi billion dollar company. I am now officially living that American Dream and I am grateful to Michael Prince for playing a CRUCIAL role in that.
